The Penn State Abington women's tennis team lost five of its six singles matches in the 6-3 loss to Penn State Berks in an North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Sunday.
Berks improves to 5-4 overall and 2-0 in the NEAC, while Abington fell to 6-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
The No. 1 doubles duo of
Stephanie Mockus and Alisa Ulitsky were able to pick up an 8-6 win as fellow teammates
Lauren Hetzel and
Jenny Abraham also notched the 7-3 in the tiebreaker for the second win for the No. 2 spot in doubles.
In singles matches, the No. 5 spot of
Kimberly Ochester were able to pick up an 6-2, 6-3 win to hold off Berks from sweeping in singles.
The Lady Lions will host Baptist Bible College on Wednesday, April 4th at 3:30 p.m.
