They then rebounded from the loss by defeating York College (N.Y.) 25-6, 24-26, 25-13, 25-14, before sweeping Arcadia University, 25-20, 25-23, 25-22.

Kate Schalck combined for 24 kills and 29 digs. Brown chipped in with a career-high 29 assists within four sets for Abington's tenth win of the season.
Then it came down to the final match of the day, Abington versus Arcadia University. The last time both teams met, Arcadia fought back in the final two sets to edge Abington for the 3-1 victory in the season opener on August 31
st.
This time, Abington had the crowd on their side throughout the match. The first set was a back and forth battle as both teams rallied as Abington caught up and jumped ahead for the 12-9 lead before Arcadia responded back with a four-point rally. Boyd closed the door on Arcadia's chance for the lead as she pushed ahead for the win during her service.
The second set of the match was another tale as both teams could not find their groove as the score tied up ten times before Abington nabbed the final two points for the win on back-to-back Arcadia service errors. The third set of the match was a make-or-break moment for Abington as they struggled to retain the lead as Arcadia managed to slip ahead but they too struggled to hold onto the lead. With just four points away from an Abington victory, Arcadia stormed back within three points but could not hold on as the Lady Lions mustered its final two points off of Brown's services for the win and sweet revenge.
Millan, once again, led the team with 18 kills and 11 digs as Brown posted 28 assists. Boyd finished the match with two kills and 14 digs, while Schalck collected four service aces, seven kills, and three digs in the victory.
The Lady Lions return to action Wednesday as they hosts the 'Dig Pink' night in a friendly match with Montgomery County Community College. The match is slated to start at 6 p.m. and will feature t-shirt sales towards the Side-Out Foundation.
