CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's tennis team, seeded second in the league, had its season come to an end Saturday with a  5-3 loss to Wells College in the semifinals before losing the consolation round to Penn State Harrisburg by a score of 5-2.

Abington went up 2-1 after doubles play in the semifinal round against Wells College as Lori Phillips and Evgenia Nigay along with Olya Popili and Carly Powell both defeated their opponents by a score of 8-6.

In the consolation round against Penn State Harrisburg, Abington played a similar tune, winning No. 2 and 3 doubles for the 2-1 lead before falling short in singles play with Harrisburg sweeping all four singles points for the third place win.
