GLENSIDE, Pa. - The women's tennis team struggled to record a single victory in their 9-0 loss at Arcadia University today.
 
Missing a starter, each of Abington's doubles teams saw changes in the order. Emily Jusseaume (Paris, France) and Y Nhi Nguyen (Philadelphia, Pa.) had the strongest showing at 3^rd doubles losing by a score of 4-8.
 
Honora Hegarty (Abington, Pa.), 1st singles, played well in 1^st singles, but lost a tight battle by a score of 3-6, 4-6, as Olya Popili (Philadelphia, Pa.) put up a strong showing in 2^nd singles play but also came up short, losing 6-3, 6-2.
 
The remaining starters were outmatched as they all had to play up a position. Abington only managed to collect four games in the remaining four singles matches.
 
Next up for the Nittany Lions (1-2) is Rosemont College on September 21^st on the road.
