ABINGTON, Pa – The Abington women's tennis team (3-0) remain undefeated as they topped Albright College (0-2) 7-2, Saturday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions took two of three doubles matches with Amanda Shulski and Janie Saile getting the first point of the match when they defeated the Lions 8-3. Next Honestee Sphabmixay and Madison Kimball battled to an 8-5 win for the next point.

In singles action Albright tied the match with a win from Brooke Ronney over Gabrielle Eberhardt, 6-1, 6-1.  But wins from Sheena Philip (3-4 retired), Shulski 6-4, 3-6, 11-9 gave the Nittany Lions a 4-2 lead. Sphabmixay clinched the win for Abington with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Albright.

The Nittany Lions return to action September 22, when they travel to Arcadia Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
