DOYLESTOWN, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's tennis team cruised to its fourth straight win with a 6-3 decision over Delaware Valley University. Abington moves to 5-5 overall for the season.
In doubles action Abington battled to a 8-6 win at the top flight, and earned an 8-4 win at the second flight, but the Aggies took the final match 8-4.
The Nittany Lions went on to earn another four points in singles action to clinch the match. At the top flight
Stephanie Jin earned a 6-3, 6-4 win and
Madison Kimball won her match 6-0, 6-1 in the second match.
Sally Phung earned a point with a 6-3, 6-2 victory and
Sam Amaro rounded out the group with her 6-3, 6-4 win.
The Nittany Lions will travel to Lancaster Bible on Friday afternoon for a 3:30 p.m. match.
