ABINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's tennis team picked up its second win of the season with a clean 9-0 sweep of the College of Saint Elizabeth on Wednesday afternoon. With the win the Nittany Lions improve to 2-5 on the season and 2-0 in the conference.
Abington earned two points through forfeits, but the Nittany Lions cruised through the match with two 8-0 wins in doubles and almost a complete shutout in ever singles match.
The Nittany Lions will be back in action when they travel to Wells College on Sunday afternoon at 12:00 p.m.
