Box Score LANGHORNE, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's tennis team kicked off their season at Cairn University but couldn't come away with a win in an 8-1 defeat on Saturday afternoon.

In doubles action Carly Martinson and Michelle Ly came close but fell to the Highlanders 8-6. Later in the match Martinson would earn the Nittany Lions lone point after a 6-2, 6-0 decision over Cairn.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Albright College this Thursday for their next match at 3:00 p.m.
