Abington Competes at Husky Invitational

RESULTS

Danville, Pa. – The Penn State Abington men's golf team took part in the Husky Invitational hosted by Bloomsburg University at the Golf Course at Frosty Valley on Monday.

Senior Nick DeGirolamo was the team's top finisher as he carded an 82 on the par-72 course; one stroke shy of his season-low. Fellow senior Michael Festa followed with a score of 83.

Freshman John Donahue carded a score of 94, while sophomore Tyler Burton finished the day with a score of 104. Also scoring for the Nittany Lions was sophomore Ethan Ethridge who recorded a score of 118.

Also for Abington, sophomore Ava Miller competed as an individual in the women's invitational and finished with a score of 119.

Abington returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 15 as the Nittany Lions take part in the two-day Gino Biondi Memorial Tournament hosted by Marywood University. The tournament will take place at the Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic, Pa.
