Abington Falls to Harrisburg in United East Matchup

Box Score Middletown, Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's tennis team dropped a United East Conference (UEC) road match against Penn State Harrisburg, 9-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Hoverter Tennis Complex.

How It Happened
 
* At sixth singles, junior Kelsey Patterson had a competitive match versus Harrisburg's Carissa Fallon.  Patterson won seven games in the match with Fallon winning 6-3, 6-4.
 
* Freshman Soniyah Youngblood won five games in her fourth singles match against Gabrielle Sabatose.  Sabatose edged out Youngblood in the first set, 6-4, before winning the second set, 6-1.
 
All-Time Series
Today marked the sixth meeting between Abington and Harrisburg since the start of the 2011-12 season.  Abington is now 2-4 versus Harrisburg in the all-time series.
 
Next Up
Abington returns to action on Monday, April 17 as the Nittany Lions host Saint Elizabeth University in a non-conference match at the Abington Tennis Courts on campus.
