Golf Opens Spring Schedule at Washington College Spring Invitational

RESULTS

Chestertown, Md. – The Penn State Abington men's golf team opened the spring portion of its schedule at the first-ever Washington College Spring Invitational held at Chester River Yacht and Country Club on Monday. The Nittany Lions finished tied for third place among five competing teams with a team score of 360.

How It Happened

* Senior Jack Lenox was the team's top finisher as he carded a low score of 88 to finish 11^th overall.

* Freshman Anthony Feliciani finished tied for 12^th as he finished with a score of 89 in his first competition with the Nittany Lions.

* Junior Bern Popky shot a 90 to finish 18^th overall, while sophomore Matthew Kilner finished with a 93 to round out the scoring for Abington. Kilner finished 20^th overall.

* Sophomore Matt Duggan also competed as he completed the course with a 96 to finish tied for 23^rd.

Next Up
Abington returns to action on Saturday, March 29 as the Nittany Lions compete in the two-day Penn State Classic at University Park's Blue Golf Course.
