The Lions jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the game's first 96 seconds, but the Patriots answered with a 16-0 run of their own and led by 14 poins at halftime.

Junior guard Trish Watson (Bensalem, Pa. / Conwell Egan) and freshman forward Gabrielle Benedict (Jamison, Pa. / Central Bucks West) led the Lions with 14 and 12 points, respectively. Shooting woes doomed the Lions, now 0-5 on the season. The team shot 25 percent from the floor, including 3-43 from three-point range.
