ST. DAVIDS - After rolling to three wins in doubles play, Penn State Abington swept all six singles, including five in straight sets, en route to a 9-0 shutout of Eastern University in non-conference men's tennis action on Wednesday afternoon.
Abington is now 1-1 on the year, while Eastern picked up its first loss of the 2014-15 campaign.

Mohammed Ammouni (Bensalem, Pa.) won 8-2 at No. 1 doubles along with classmate
Michael Brown (Philadelphia, Pa.). Senior
James Howell (Abington, Mass.) and junior
Monte Dunson (Philadelphia, Pa.), who was recently named NEAC Player of the Week, cruised to an 8-4 victory at second doubles, and first-year
Justin McNab (Elkins Park, Pa.) and senior
Kevin Wilkinson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) posted an 8-1 triumph at No. 3.
Ammouni picked up his first collegiate career win with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles, while
Mike Herman (Philadelhpia, Pa.) was victorious by a score of 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. McNab needed a third set to pull off a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles before Howell, Dunson, and Wilkinson swept their oppoents in straight sets at No. 4, 5, and 6 singles, respectively.
Abington will complete the fall season on Saturday when the Nittany Lions travel down to Fredericksburg, Va. to participate in the three-day Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Southeast Regional Tournament, hosted by Mary Washington College.
