ABINGTON, PA. - After more than 660 days since there last game, the Penn State Abington Women's Soccer team returns to the pitch for the 2021 season. Returning for his 4
th season as head coach, Dan Manella is looking to build off a 2019 season where they went 6-10 overall and 4-6 in conference play.

The Nittany Lions have Senior Defender
Allyson Holtz, who has logged 3 goals and 2 assists during her career; Senior Defender
Erica Denshuick, who has started almost every game on the back line since coming to Penn State Abington, and Senior Midfielder
Mary Kate Smith, who has logged 4 goals and 2 assists over the course of her collegiate career.
Leading scorer Taylor Perkowski and goalkeeper Morgan O'Loughlin are losses for the program that Manella will be looking to replace. Perkowski finished the 2019 campaign with nine goals and an assist. In between the sticks O'Loughlin recorded 101 saves for the Nittany Lions.
The Nittany Lions open their season tomorrow at Rosemont College, and their home opener is scheduled for September 9
th.
