Abington Hosts Annual Invitational at Lorimer Park

Huntingdon Valley, Pa. – Freshman Nicholas Rodriguez was the team's top finisher as the Penn State Abington men's cross country team hosted the annual Abington Invitational on Saturday morning at Lorimer Park.

Meet Highlights

* For the second straight week Rodriguez was the Nittany Lions' top finisher as he completed the 8k-course in a time of 31:06.5. Rodriguez finished 25^th overall among 119 competitors.

* Freshman Marco Isabella was the team's next finisher as he clocked in at 32:52.1 in 48^th place.

* Freshman Nicolas Worrall set a season-best time as he crossed the finish line in 34:26.9 to finish 66^th overall.

* Freshman Isaiah Torres followed in a time of 35:30.4 (73^rd).

* Freshman Jacob McDonald finished 91^st overall as he set a personal-best with a time of 38:10.1

* Other scorers for Abington include, freshman Mosheh Francis Udisi (39:06.4 – 95^th) and Mingda Zhao (53:44.0 – 119^th).

Abington will host the United East Conference Championships at Lorimer Park on Saturday, Oct. 29. More information on the conference championship will be available later next month.
