Latham, N.Y. –
Penn State Abington freshman Mason Kaminski was one of 27 runners that earned All-United East Conference (UEC) honors at this year's conference championships as announced by the conference office in its recap of this year's race.  Kaminski, who finished fourth overall in 28:12.13, received All-United East first team recognition.

Kaminski is the first Abington runner to earn first team honors since former standout Ben Hoyer earned All-NEAC first team recognition after the 2019 championships.

Kaminski had a stellar rookie season, which still has one race to go on the schedule.  The Nittany Lions will compete in the NCAA Division III Metro Regional hosted by Rowan University on Saturday, Nov. 15.  The men's 8k-race begins at 11 a.m.  Kaminski recorded a personal-best time of 26:51.9 at this year's Border Battle at DREAM Park.

This season, Kaminski has finished in the top four, among collegiate runners, in his last six races, including a victory at Delaware Valley University's Green and Gold Invitational back in October.  Kaminski also finishing second in Abington's home invitational that wrapped up the month of September.
