Kaminski Finishes Fourth at United East Championships

Media, Pa. – Penn State Abington freshman Mason Kaminski finished fourth overall as the Nittany Lions competed in the United East Conference (UEC) Championships hosted by Penn State Brandywine on Saturday. As a team, Abington finished fourth overall with a team score of 136.

Race Highlights

* Kaminski finished fourth overall marking the best finish by an Abington runner in the conference championship since Ben Hoyer finished fourth in the 2018 NEAC Championship during his rookie season. Kaminski finished the 8k-course in a time of 28:12.13.

* Senior Marco Isabella and freshman Jackie Chen finished back-to-back. Isabella finished 30^th overall in a time of 32:42.72, while Chen finished 31^st in 32:48.67.

* Freshman Shane McCreary completed the course 36^th overall in a time of 33:27.66.

* Sophomore Calvin Chen finished 42^nd overall as he crossed the finish line in 34:34.12.

* Freshman Dan Kulb recorded a time of 36:17.03 (49^th), while fellow freshman came in at 36:48.54 (53^rd).

* Other finishes for Abington, including freshman Anthony Long (41:36.32 – 70^th), senior Nic Worrall (42:43.66 – 74^th), freshman James Wu (45:26.49 – 80^th) and freshman Qiao Xin (46:33.06 – 82^nd).
