Kaminski Named United East Runner of the Week

Latham, N.Y. – Penn State Abington freshman Mason Kaminski was named the United East Conference (UEC) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week ending Oct. 12 as announced by the conference office earlier in the week. This is Kaminski's first career weekly award.

Last week at the Green and Gold Invitational hosted by Delaware Valley University, Kaminski finished first overall to capture his first collegiate victory. He finished the 8k-course in a season-best time of 26:56.7.

Kaminski has finished in the top-three in his last four races, including a second place showing at the Abington Invitational and now a first-place performance at the Green and Gold Invitational.

Abington returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 17 as the Nittany Lions compete in the annual Border Battle hosted by Rowan University.
