Abington Takes Part in Osprey Open

RESULTS

Galloway, N.J. – The Penn State Abington men's cross country team competed in the annual Osprey Open hosted by Stockton University on Saturday. The Nittany Lions competed in the 8k-Open Run.

Meet Highlights

* Junior Marco Isabella was the team's top finisher as he crossed the finish line in a time of 30:58.7. Isabella's time placed him 25^th overall.

* Freshman Mateo Jofre was the next Nittany Lion to finish as he registered a time of 35:31.6.

* Junior Nic Worrall finished in a season-best time of 36:32.6.

* Freshman Anthony Silva recorded a time of 47:11.1, while freshman Joseph Luis followed next at 48:48.3 in his first collegiate race.

* Freshman Peter Woo finished in 52:44.0.

Abington returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 21 as the Nittany Lions host the annual Abington Invitational at Lorimer Park. The men's 8k-race is set for 10 a.m.
