Abington Competes at Osprey Open

Galloway, N.J. - The Penn State Abington women's cross country team competed in the annual Osprey Open hosted by Stockton University on Saturday. The Nittany Lions took part in the 6k Open Run.

Meet Highlights

* Senior Brielle Worrall was the team's top runner as she finished 28^th overall in a time of 29:35.5.

* Sophomore Nicole Hakman recorded a time of 35:34.1.

* Freshman Liza Worrall came through with a time of 38:59.4 in her first collegiate 6k-race.

* Freshman Kritika Singh, also competing in her first 6k-race, registered a time of 39:37.8.

* Other finishes included sophomores Kinah Britton (48:05.0) and Yeva Amirkhanyan (59:16.2).

Abington returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 21 as the Nittany Lions host the annual Abington Invitational at Lorimer Park. The women's 6k-race is set for 9 a.m.
