Abington Competes in United East Championships

Media, Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's cross country team competed in the United East Conference (UEC) Championships hosted by Penn State Brandywine on Saturday.

Race Highlights

* Freshman Nina Maxwell was the first Abington runner to complete the 6k-course as she finished 38^th overall in a time of 31:55.88.

* Junior Nicole Hakman followed as she crossed the finish line in 33:20.49 to finish 45^th overall.

* Senior Teni Olayinka-Yusuf and sophomore Autumn Marteins-Jackson finished back-to-back. Olayinka-Yusuf finished in 42:26.67 (61^st), while Marteins-Jackson finished in 42:27.44 (62^nd).

* Senior Yeva Amirkhanyan recorded a time of 1:02:40.02 (68^th).
