Nittany Lions Host Abington Invitational

RESULTS

Abington, Pa. - The Penn State Abington men's cross country team hosted the annual Abington Invitational on Saturday morning at Lorimer Park.

Race Highlights

* Junior Marco Isabella finished 30^th overall among 119 participants as he completed the 8k-course in a time of 31:18.0. His time set a new personal-best at the team's home invitational.

* Freshman Mateo Jofre (57^th) finished in a time of 35:46.6 in his first Abington Invitational.

* Junior Nic Worrall crossed the finish line in 37:53.7 (74^th) in his third home race of his career.

* Freshman Joseph Luis set a new season-best in an 8k-race as he finished in a time of 41:46.4 (95^th).

* Freshman Peter Woo finished in a time of 1:04.09.3 to cap the scoring for the Nittany Lions.

Abington returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 28 as the Nittany Lions compete in the Bryn Athyn College Invitational.
