Abington Opens Season at Dutchmen Invitational

Lebanon, Pa. – The Penn State Abington men's cross country team opened the season at the annual Dutchmen Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley College on Saturday morning at Union Canal Tunnel Park.

Meet Highlights

* Junior Marco Isabella was the team's top finisher as he concluded the 8k-course in a time of 30:12.8. Isabella's time of 30:12.8 marked his best performance at the Dutchmen Invitational.

* Freshman Mateo Jofre finished his first collegiate race in 34:49.9.

* Junior Nic Worrall crossed the finish line in a time of 36:48.9.

* Freshmen Anthony Silva and Peter Woo also factored in the scoring as both were competing in their first college race. Silva finished in 44:16.3 and Woo clocked in at 51:09.7.

Abington returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 14 as the Nittany Lions take part in the Osprey Open hosted by Stockton University.
